About the Beach Conditions Reporting System

The beach conditions reporting system by the Sarasota Operations Coastal Oceans Observation Lab is subjective, meaning they are just estimates created to help beachgoers determine which beach might be the best for them at a specific time. Reports are usually posted at 10am and 3pm local time, but can be delayed if beach reporters are dealing with more urgent matters.
