Join us at the Sanibel Recreation Center when there is no school on Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11 as we salute the men and women of our armed forces with a variety of fun athletics and games.
This Veterans Day will include a visit to the official Veterans Day ceremony at Sanibel City Hall. Don’t forget our gym and swim combo activities are always a part of every Fun Day. Also, don’t forget to pack a swimsuit and towel and each child will need to bring their own lunch.
The program operates from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is available for grades kindergarten through eighth. Please register in advance at the Sanibel Recreation Center.
Program costs are $20 per day, per child for members and $25 per day, per child for non-members. For more information, contact the Rec Center at 472-0345.
